Our lists had been big. We’ve a google doc of it, if you’re fascinated. And we wanted to get suggestions and enter from others in Lyon. So we would have liked to distil into an inaccurate mannequin. Then again, wood does have some limitations with regard to structural capability. “Wood is simply not as sturdy as steel or concrete, and due to this fact is certainly much less environment friendly and finally costs extra when long spans are known as for,” says Duo Dickinson, an architect in Madison, Conn. However, the Structural Board Association, Markham, Ont., which represents manufacturers of oriented-strand board (OSB), counters that, pound for pound, wood is stronger than steel as a result of it has a more favorable power-to-weight ratio. Even so, says Dickinson, recycled and pre-engineered wooden products is not going to work for each undertaking utility: “Once a certain load capacity is reached, they merely don’t have the energy or structural effectivity of their steel or concrete counterparts.”
[3] I’ve never really preferred the label “smart contracts”. They’re not likely good in any AI-ish sense of the phrase. And they often have nothing to do with “contract” in any authorized sense of the word. If they do include legals, they often state so, e.g. with Ricardian contracts. The labels “decentralized processing” and inside it “decentralized enterprise logic” make extra sense. Nevertheless, given “smart contract” now has widespread use, so be it. I’ve better things to focus on than fighting over labels:)
